Victory Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Nurse with a drive to teach and facilitate the growth of a practice in a very unique environment.

We are a well-equipped clinic, with separate “clean” and “dirty” surgical suites, separate cat, dog and isolation wards, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy and full laboratory blood testing station, as well as access to MRI and CT. We are a high-functioning clinic with advanced surgical, diagnostic imaging and medical skillsets.

Roles & Responsibilities

What To Expect

  • General veterinary nurse and technician management and teaching, including but not limited to outstanding service delivery, detailed medical care, customer management, mentoring junior staff, maintaining equipment, and overseeing inventory.

  • Assist with complex medical and surgical procedures, including understanding and communicating complex cases in cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery to the veterinary nurse and technicians.

  • Provide intensive care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.

  • Assist with mobile veterinary services as required.

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to animals of all sizes and temperaments.

What We Ask For

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in small animal veterinary practice.
  • Registered veterinary nurse with the South African, Australian or Royal College of Veterinary Institutions respectively.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, with prior experience using EzyVet software being an advantage.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good sense of humour.
  • Passion for teaching with excellent communication skills and organizational skills.

 

What’s In It For You

  • HKD 30,000 to 35,000 per month, plus performance-based commissions and bonus, health insurance, 14 days annual leave, not including Statutory Holidays (16 days), continuing education opportunities that are fully supported by the company
